Session 82 - Stoned but not Over
Divine Fortune rest up, trying to ignore the scratchings of the Boggles at their Secure Shelter, preparing for the mornings rescue attempt.
They need not have worried. Fully powered up, in Deeper Darkness and accompanied by Taedors Thrashing Tentacles of Trauma, the Medusae are easily overpowered. Jill undoes the enchantment of the stoning of Dwertern, and the party return to safety.
Dwertern is holding a rather large tome (not a tomb, mind you, that's impossible) in his left hand, of obviously highly potent magic. What is more interesting though is that his whole arm appears to have a deity level magic auru (as opposed to the high level magic of a deity, as Jill points out). Dwertern appears unable to drop or even shift his grip on the Tome.
Peccable asks his deity about the strange situation, but receives a noncommittal response, almost a rant against the greed of man (or dwarf, that is).
