Session 76 - Under Elversult
After the capturing and charming of Guard Arta, he agrees to introduce Divine Fortune to his cultist friend. Arta leads them through Elversult's underground system, part sewer, part drainways and part covert accessways to Mehmon's underground entrance.
Arta goes in first saying he'll introduce the party first before calling them through. Strangely, nothing further happens. No call from Arta, no fireballs from Mehmon. Zippo.
Taedor cracks out some divination spells to spy into the houses above and the tunnels around, and eventually teleports everyone above ground near the entrance to Mehmons house.
Mehmon's house appears to be guarded by humans, complete with armour, weapons and bizarre milky eye cataracts, but this is no challenge for Divine Fortune. Jill fascinates the guards, encouraging them to open the door so Invisible Ibis and Tadeors spying eyes can gain entrance.
They spy two more guards (similarly afflicted) upstairs, and who they assume to be Mehmon downstairs pondering the situation. No sign of Arta, but then there was no time to peek upstairs...
